 60 Years Ago… Elvis fans were in a state of confusion. Their hero was experiencing an emotion their hero was clearly unfamiliar with. Rejection. For “Return To Sender” was one of the biggest hits in the world & it simply didn’t make sense.

Elvis himself was clearly equally confused. Maybe he found it incomprehensible. Maybe that’s why he feels he needs to put the letter right in her hand in order to understand… Maybe that’s why he seems simply incapable of taking a hint!
